Award winning and published, wildlife, natural history and adventure photographer, filmmaker and camera operator, specializing in underwater, time-lapse and long lens based in the South West of England.
My passion is capturing engaging and powerful stories about the natural world and inspiring others to enjoy nature and care more for our planet.
I’m a skilled self-shooter and video editor and have produced multiple short films, I’m a capable long lens, time-lapse and underwater filmmaker with a focus on marine and coastal wildlife.
Scuba diver and freediver with extensive experience shooting with a range of Nauticam Housings around the UK and no stranger to cold water. I have also shot overseas in the Red Sea, Galapagos and the Mediterranean and most at home when in the sea or floating around on a boat.
My recent work includes, underwater filming for Kelp! film highlighting the importance of Kelp in our oceans ands its surprising uses in every day life. Other work includes being a part of a team commissioned by the Charles Darwin Foundation to produce a film about the threat of invasive species in the Galapagos Islands. During the expedition i worked with scientists in the field in remote locations in closed areas of the national park in a variety of extreme weather conditions.
We also exhibited our film and photography at the Galapagos Day held in the Royal Geographic Society in London held by the Galapagos Conservation trust.
I am also a British Divers Marine Life Rescue volunteer and have hands on experience with stranded dolphins and injured seals and used to working in challenging environments from South America to the remote Shetland Islands.
Confident in a variety of photographic & video equipment such as Canon EOS C series video cameras / Sony A7R / Panasonic GH5 / Nauticam Housings / DJI Ronin / DSLR / Motorised sliders / Elinchrom & Profoto Studio lighting
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects & Indesign.
